We are very excited about our first litter and thrilled with our choice of stud - Ch Catcombe Corblimey. "Blimey" born 11.06.2002 has a hip score of 9:6 and clear Eye Certificate. He has had a glittering career to date culminating this year with the prestigious title "Best of Breed" at Crufts 2008. Other accolades include Top Golden Retriever for 2007, Dog CC at Crufts 2007, a total of 8 CC's, 4 RCC's, 5 BOB's, Gundog Group 3, Junior Warrant, Show Gundog Working Certificate, Working Gundog and Winner of "Pup of the Year" 2003. All these honours coupled with the fact that according to his owner and breeder Mrs. Wendy Andrews, he is an utter joy to live with.

Well, they finally arrived late Monday night 26th May 2008, although not the life enriching experience we had anticipated! Reilly's whelp had not progressed in the normal fashion and the decision was taken to carry out a caesarean. Sadly from her litter of five, we lost two magnificent boy dogs and a pretty little bitch, but were fortunate enough to go home with my sweet Smiley Reilly and two adoreable little girls who she is attending to in the most fastidious manner. The puppies are gaining weight and plumping out as you look at them, which is not surprising as there is no fighting for pole position at the milk bar! They will both be dark golden and have already lovely black pads and noses. One will remain here with us and the other will go to her new home just a couple of miles away so no doubt this duo will see a lot of each other over the coming months. I would like to thank everyone who has expressed an interest and been disappointed in not securing one of Reilly and Blimey's pups.
