"Smiley Reilly" is my soft, gentle, lovable little lady. Quick to learn and eager to please, she took her time to mature but like all good things in life was worth waiting for. She has now blossomed beautifully from a lean leggy adolescent into a sleek, silky coated elegant young bitch. She has a calm contented disposition, equally happy to stretch out in the sun and snooze, or chase about the undergrowth "flushing out". One of her greatest pleasures is launching herself with utter focus and enthusiasm into lake, river, sea or surf in pursuit of her favourite pastime - "water retrieves".

Reilly has been confirmed in whelp expecting her first litter to Ch. Catcombe Corblimey on or about May 27th 2008. Corblimey has had outstanding success in the ring to date with eight CC's and the BOB title at Crufts this year so this record in itself is testament to his superb good looks and conformation. Additionally he combines "Brains and Beauty" as a true dual purpose working gundog, picking up regularly throughout the season. Reilly has never been shown, simply because she is first and foremost a much loved member of our extended family, however we are quietly optimistic that we will have a puppy from this litter pretty enough to campaign and who will ultimately also be trained to work to the gun. It goes without saying that primarily our aim is to produce good sound healthy pups with pleasing temperaments and "smiley" personalities.
